I'm doing that but with Fingon from the Silmarillion showing up on the doorstep of Steve Rogers from Captain America, and ignoring any MCU that came out after CATWS. And Steve is a Tolkien geek because I say so.
Or else the time-travel selfcest where the older version of the character is keeping secrets from the younger, and trying to teach him to be less trusting, and hoping he doesn't have to kill their dad (also Silmrillion fandom). Depends which is easier to plot.
