☆ Broadly, what genre is your idfic? Hurt/comfort? Action/adventure? Pure porn? Food porn? Alternatively, we're dying to know: What's the scene you're most looking forward to working on?

It's funny, because what I'm working on is a drawerfic from a couple of months ago, and if you'd asked "what genre is this going to be?" before I'd written a word of it, I would've said "oh it's pure porn, obviously, I mean, it's a sex pollen fic!", but what I actually have is 4500 words of totally SFW hurt/comfort with more of a focus on my disability headcanons about these characters than about the actual effects of the pollen. In fact, if I wanted to, I could just tack on another 500 words to be like "it was just a weird temporary illness that affected the main character's cognition but had no horny component at all" and end the story there, and it wouldn't even feel like a change of tone from the first part of the fic… but I'm not doing that, lol. I still have at least one chapter of porn and at least one chapter of emotional fallout/relationship negotiation to write. :D I guess the genre is "porn with plot".

Ooh your fic sounds amazing! I hear you, porn-with-plot is such a fab combination and sex pollen, for something that feels like it should be a very direct trope, can actually wind up setting itself up really well for plot inclusion. (You know, among all that pollen. :'D)

It might still change but right now I have a vid and fic in the works, so the vid is, um. Excessive ship feels in a dramatic minor key? And the fic is probably like an action adventure/ust bickering/eventually porn combo, though maybe there'll just be a pouty omega IDK.

A 60k~ AU featuring emotional hurt/comfort, domesticity, fluff, angst, and family drama. With a few ~spicy~ scenes. I'm looking forward to writing the ending because this fic has plagued me for about 7 months now and I just want it to be done.

It's either a giant hurt/comfort megafic, or it's gonna be pure porn, and no, I still haven't decided which. ;___;

OK, so, I'm writing a Yu-Gi-Oh!DM post-last movie fic and like, it's got ghosts and hauntings and technological takeovers and mental illness and massive amounts of queerness everywhere, and I have no idea how I'm going to pull it off, but what I'm really looking forward to writing is everything. Now I just hope I do it.

Broadly, what genre is your idfic?
Broadly, the genre is definitely lemon (to use an old fandom term), and if it weren't for both parties being attracted to each other (the to-be-mindbroken one being in denial) this would be psychological horror too. ^^; (Parallel worlds being messed with will do that.)

What's the scene you're most looking forward to working on? Definitely the many scenes of Belial putting Djeeta in pretty, frilly dresses while she squirms in embarrassed delight. Oh, and the sexual pampering + Djeeta feeling phantom sensations from alternate realities! These can all happen concurrently, too. :D

Porn with a tiny bit of plot? It's my three darling dumb teenagers from NG exploring a haunted space, getting trapped in a locked room, and goofing off until they realize they've been possessed by a spirit encouraging them to have a threesome. :"D M/M/F so explorations of burgeoning bisexuality/loss of virginity and a tiny bit of post-canon trauma as one person in the trio has Actually been possessed by a spirit before.

I've started writing the actual sex parts but the scene that I'm enjoying planning the most is the truth or dare game or the banter between the two characters who dislike each other.

... is "themountaingoats_autoclave.mp3" a genre? I feel like that's a genre. (Alternately "to call this hurt/comfort would be to make really unwarranted assumptions about how much any of it actually improves the situation.")

Not sure on genre other than "Loki/Sylvie twincest mpreg AU," haha. The scenes I'm looking forward to writing are the big reveal ones. There are going to be multiple of those, and I am exciiiiiited. :D
