Idea or summary (if any): Period romance novel-ish setup where the firstborn heir to an empire's throne travels to an enemy kingdom to offer their hand in marriage to seal a lasting peace treaty. Also, most of the opposing kingdom's population is bug people. Basically lots of politicking and conspiracies and interspecies fuckery that slides along the scale from painful and awkward to nasty-hot. And bug people.
