The draft is progressing nicely—last time I checked in, I had 20k and thought I had 10k to go, now I have 25k and thankfully don't think I have much more than 5k remaining. But I'll have my fingers crossed for a later-in-the-week posting date as that will determine how much editing I get to do!

So it turns out I'm going to be on a trip from the 7th to the 17th. I was hoping to cram in the last of the writing and editing before I had to leave, but it's not going to happen. Maybe by one of the amnesty dates?

I wound up being late for this post because I was editing the fic. ^^; It's 33k, and longer than last year's submission, somehow--perhaps this is the power of delving as deep into my id as I could? I did manage to make the love confession make sense narratively! With luck, I can edit one more time before the deadline...
