Do we need to leave an AO3/dreamwidth name while signing up at this stage? I haven't decided what I'm writing yet, and therefore which account it will end up on.

I asked this via email, but didn't get a response so I thought I'd ask again here.

I was wondering if it would be possible to sign up as a writer, but write/draw a comic instead? The iddy thing I'm currently thinking of would work a lot better as a comic than as a fic

I know the FAQ says other challenges are allowed and there's a prompt pool. Are fics based on prompts from other sites/places allowed, e.g. fic you want threads on forums? Thanks.

Would fic in the form of interactive fiction be eligible for this event?

If I sign up via AO3 do I have the option to still post my work on a DW journal of my choosing instead of on AO3?

Are series that add up to 5k (all new writing) allowable, or does it have to contain one work of at least 5k?

The rules say • Snippets posted on meme or personal accounts do not count as previously posted, so I wanted to check, are we allowed to post snippets during the writing period, or does this only apply to ones posted before sign-ups?

I'm curious about how "finished" the fic has to be when I post. I'm writing a long chaptered fic (80k+ words). It's finished, but I don't want to dump all 80k at once; I prefer posting chapters every couple days and building reader investment. Am I allowed to do that when I post my work? The chapter count would be established from the start (say, 1/10), if that helps it look less like it's unfinished.

I saw the question above about a series, but I'm still confused. One of my ideas would be posted as a series on AO3, and would contain five related fics of probably 1-1.5k each. Would this count?

Hi!! Are co-writing situations allowed? A friend and I have been intending to co-write a fic that we think would be a great fit for this fest.
