I'm in pretty good shape for this even though real life has made things busy. I'm editing a drawerfic for this project, so the story's already written, I just need to make it better.

Right now I'm rewriting a scene to make it hotter. Reminding myself that the entire point of this thing is to do whatever my heart desires has been very effective re: letting go of inhibitions. ;)

I'm at 56k right now, finishing up the last 1/4 of the story. I haven't had a beta or any other set of eyes other than my own on this thing yet, and that makes me nervous. XD The idea of posting something this long without anyone to rein me in or even looking over the story is terrifying, lol.

I have got the outline finished, and the first draft started. I'm currently got my fingers crossed that I haven't bitten off a fic bigger than I can chew in the alloted time.

Anyways, I might have to rip out what I've written so far and re-arrange it with some new writing to fix things, but it is the self-indulgent fun I wanted. Given the ripping and tearing to happen I don't know how much of what I wrote will actually count to my progress, but I'd say I had written about 50% of what I wanted to get on the page.

I’ve been so excited about new-to-me canons since signing up and have started on a couple of fics. Thing is, I can’t choose which one to develop first. So that’s a happy problem to have. Now I just need to settle on one and focus on that!

I am about 5k into a werewolf AU. I don't know how done this is. I have the ending written out because I write backwards, the beginning down and parts of the middle but the rest is ????

I'm 6K into story #1 with about 1/4 still left to write. Fic #2 sits at 2k at the moment and will probably come in around 8k as well. I only outlined the third story, so far. Hoping to finish up the first two by the end of the month, so I can focus on the last one in September.

Well, I am close to the halfway mark of the word minimum with a series of scenes. The shape of the story is there; or at least the beginning and the end. The middle needs some sharpening.

Alas, a gripe -- I know what I plan to write, and I have a rough outline of sorts, but it's been a heatwave of hell for *counts* about a month and a half and I'm so far behind on everything, not just IIBB, it's mortifying.

Hello!! Happy to be here. :D

I'm feeling a bit negative this morning. My draft is awful, and it's now grown a feeble plot in addition to the awkward smut, pointless banter, and weird ranty tangents on topics that are unlikely to interest or amuse many other people. I've got... 8k, ish? Which is a lot for me, but seems to be barely half the fic. The outline is pretty substantial.

Though I keep getting waylaid by embarrassment, I intend to trudge on. Even if this thing turns out totally sucking, at least I can try to create a better emotional buildup for the few scenes I currently like. (And if all else fails, I'll scrap it and do something else. I very much want to complete this challenge.)

It's a bit like pulling teeth, but I have an outline and am two out of three Five Times in. I have a chunk of the next scene already written from an earlier draft version and now I need to hammer it into a shape that would fit in the new story's hole (hehe hole).

I'm the person who signed up anonymously with part of the description being "pregnant with his eighth child" - things are going well! I have about 12k so far. I've mostly been focusing on other projects, too, so I'm feeling pretty good about this! I just have one major project I need to finish before I can focus all of my time on this fic.
