Checking in! The rough draft is finished at about 15,700 words, and I'm about halfway through the editing process. It's completely not for the fandom I was expecting to write, but a new one that's taken me by storm, and I've had an absolute blast writing for myself for what feels like the first time in forever.

It's grim as all hell though. :D

I have an outline, in as much as a PWP needs one. But very few words, just a couple hundred. At least I know the story in perfect detail, I'm sticking to the kiradax first time fic.

I haven't started yet. I've decided on a whim to do August writer's month over on tumblr, so I've been busy with that, but the words are going well there, so I think I'll be fine once I start with this one. I have several ideas still, we'll see what crystallizes.

The initial idea (id-ea?) I signed up with is gaining little traction, so I'm considering swapping out to one of two drawer fics that I have rattling around the depths of my hard drive. Now, time to choose between the extremely self-indulgent apocalypse AU, or the OTP christening every room of their house post-marriage smut fic. Both are currently equal amounts incomplete...

I have about 2.5k words on the pure smut fic, about 1k for werewolf au, and I fell into a research role for the ancient Rome au that snuck up on me by surprise, all for the same ship.

Life decided to happen way too much this month, so I had little time to write, but when I got to it, writing such indulgent fics really helped me de-stress. Here's hoping I can get more time in the coming weeks.

I finally have a fic in progress! Took me ages to settle on what I was going to write, but I'm 3.5K words in and it's going great guns :D

Still poking at a variety of ideas. I have a few snippets written out (<2k words), but they're mostly for, like, taste testing purposes and trying to prime the iddy pump. I think I'll probably sit down and decide which one I'm going to go for in a few days...

Haven't got far yet at all, but I do have the story plotted out and I have the intro scene! I just need to keep pushing myself and release the id.

Fic length has gotten way out of hand, and I'm gonna have to hack out and revise a lot of this stuff, but I'm slowly but surely chugging along. Getting about 1k written per day.

I'm literally still in the ideas/planning stage. I was hoping this event would help me with some writer's block but the block may be too strong. So, I don't know. I'm not at the point where I think I can't do it yet, but to be quite honest, it's possible I'll end up dropping out.

I'm doing surprisingly well, I think? Belial's trailer for Granblue Fantasy Versus put a bonfire under me! The good news: the fic is 10k. The bad news: I want to make it a two-parter (and even longer), because Everyone Is Bi in GBF and Belial should have at least one guy in his hypnosis harem. Not sure how to make that happen without a timeskip...but I really want to manage it!

I've got exactly 8700 words! The language isn't polished but I have all of the beginning third and end third blocked out, at least. The middle is giving me a bit of trouble, but I'll get there!

I'm having a good time in idea land, but alas, the iddy juices aren't flowing as well as I'd hoped. :( Hopefully I will have a better handle on my fic by the second check-in, but for now: this sure is an Idea! That would make for delightful iddy fic!
