I'm 3k in, but that 3k is spread across 4 different scenes, none of them finished. Hopefully I can fix that in the near future.

I have 10K+ on this weirdo Finn/Poe canon divergence AU and that's about...30-40% finished. Still lots of banging and boning to write, plus smuggling. AND DRAGONS. I am having the time of my life with this.

I mean, it's there or Crimson Peak, which is just so self-contained and perfectly balanced; there really aren't as many loose threads hanging out. (Whereas, as it turned out, the MINUTE I started making lists, I remembered most of a Vanessa/Malcolm five things I had outlined about three years ago and not had the ovarian fortitude to get into. This may be cheating, but anything for a leg up at this point.)

I have an outline and about 1k written, but a long way to go. I've never written casefic or anything set in this particular era of canon, so it's a challenge. But I'm also having fun!

I have an outline and about 800 words from left from last year that I'm trying to make sense of. I've written a little, but mostly it's been reacqainting myself with the verse. I had to make sure my id still alingned and if the one year older me's id could mesh with before.

Just got back from camping for two weeks, so I'm a little further behind than where I'd hoped to be, but I'm still determined to bang it out

Well, I have a solid 15k of (unedited) story, and an outline for the rest. But I've been distracted the last week or so and added nothing to it. I'm worried this story is too ambitious for me to finish in time, since the outline went from probably about 20k words to basically novella-length. OTL

I have a couple WIPs I could switch to as a backup, but I really like this idea. I just need to buckle down and make myself write instead of fucking around on the internet.

Anyway, I'm 20K into a Seto/Bakura fic that nobody will read. I'm enjoying it! Currently estimating that it'll end up in the 25-28K range, which will make it the longest fic I've ever written (seriously, I write short&sweet). I have a detailed outline and everything! It's verrrry satisfying. Even though, like I said, nobody but me is going to read it.
