I'm at 30000 words with two gaps in the middle that are basically '[more stuff here]' and no sign of an ending. I often stumble on endings, so I'm not as worried about that as I might be otherwise. I mean, I am worried, but I might find an ending another thousand words along. Or not. The gaps worry me a lot more because I have no idea at all what needs to go in there.

I'm mainly worried that the combination of length, timing, fandom, and subject matter means I won't find a beta reader. I'm not as worried about SPaG as I am about consistent characterization, finding unfired Chekov's guns, etc., and all of that is vastly more time consuming for a beta reader and generally harder than SPaG.

I had a breakthrough yesterday and my fic started to resemble something, finally. Yay! I'm still missing an ending, and the story needs plenty of rewriting, but I will have something done by the deadline.

I am so pathetically far behind it's not even funny, but I am going to do my damnedest to make something postable.

I am over half! It's not going to be as long as I liked, and my id took me for a walk, since a whole lot has been happening in this fic, except the kink it had been named after for a working title.

Would it be okay to post this as IIBB, and then later post a sequel to it, when not IIBB-ing?

Still banging away at both fics. One is around half done and already nearly 5k, and the other has two finished sections, and tentative plans for the other three, I just need to sit down and do terrible things to the ladies.

It needs some more content, but at least I'm done transcribing it and I've fixed the emotional plot arc a bit. (I've been playing with the general idea behind the fic for most of a year now, so there was one scene that fit early on that I'd written back in late May; adding it in helped a lot.)

I'm possibly at the point where I should drop out, but don't want to. I'm pretty sure i can finish one fic if not two like I'd planned, but I'll bookmark that link about asking for extensions just in case.

1. Femslash Reylo sex pollen: I'm almost at 5k! I am feeling really confident on this one.

2. Femslash Reylo with fem!kylo fpreg: It keeps growing more scenes that absolutely have to be written. I've got a bit of a hydra situation going on here. Every new scene I write sprouts off three more thrown all across the fic. This is turning into something a lot more sprawling than anything I've written before (which is to say, it's not a one-shot). There are so many gaps in the plot, and what it is growing into is something I am not sure I can finish by posting time, which is concerning for me. On the up side, I am having a blast writing it.
