Well, I could add something like this* or this to my Clara and Me porn stars story, since I already have them using some cracky (but inspired by real) sex toys already in the story. I probably wouldn't go in the direction of something from a fictional tentacled creature that has one of its tentacles cut off or something. Let me think about it.

A lot of things, really. Some people are upset the owner of the site runs a forum devoted to zoophilia. But there are other things, like alleged art theft. And other people have had bad experiences working with them.

Ha, one of the canons I'm writing is Homestuck, so sex tentacles could be proliferating like flowers in springtime. As for it being detachable, why not? There are weirder sex toys in canon. Even though I'm not planning on sex in that story, I do love me some bedsharing, so theoretically a sex tentacle could go wandering for some dubcon; perhaps in a slight AU.

As for the other, that would be entirely the wrong kind of body horror to have. The protag's just going to be coughing up gouts of blood instead of getting extreme body modifications!

...It's amusing to me that while the idea of tentacles in any fic gets me all giddy, the idea of a detachable one feels bizarre. Because tentacle sex is totes normal, right?

So, probably not. Depending on the fandom I go with, "normal" tentacles could easily happen, though.

Sadly, no. I think it would be a bit too much for this pair and all the captivity-awful they're going through. Though Dracula does like his creatures.

Well, I have a shapeshifter who can have tentacles if they want to. I don't know that detachable ones would be a good thing from that character's point of view, though.
