Looks like a few participants are planning to write Femslash Fpreg and I'm particularly looking forward to seeing the results. I'm planning on writing Mpreg and would like to compare and contrast ideas on how we plan to form the baby/make baby come out XD

I've been biting my nails about joining this since I saw the sign up post go up. On the one hand, I have this amazing idea I'd love to try about touch-starved Vetinari who's spent so long not getting close to anyone that he has difficulty letting Drumknott even touch his hand in a gesture more than a handshake despite the fact that he loves him buckets --

I am so excited to get started on this, but at the same time all /o\ because I have an exhibition at work that is going to be running on the same timeline, ie writing and implementation going on through August and opening in late September. But it's okay! Everything's gonna be okay! Because it has to be!

So, I'm writing what looks to be apocalyptic captivity-porn for two characters that are in vicious, hate-filled love with each other, and at least a quarter of it deals with the extreme non-con humiliation of someone who A) DESERVES IT and B) is probably the worst person to ever humiliate. OH BOY.

[Incidentally, does anyone have any ideas/recs about kidnapping/captivity/forced-bonding narratives? Plz talk at me about them!]

I suspect I'll be in the minority with a nonsexual fic here--with a TON of hugging, holding, consoling, etc. I'm turning up the dial on the angst/grief and using it to draw people together in the very best emotional hurt/comfort I can manage. :D Wallowing in the angst is so much fun!

I've been writing iddy stuff all day today, but it's an obscure fandom *and* both AU (canon divergence) and arguably OOC. But, you know, 5000 words in a day is a big deal when I usually struggle to get 500 a day.

I'm just worried that the OOC part means I'm writing Any Two Guys fic...

Honestly, even if it were, that would still be okay, idfic is allowed to be that. But there's also nothing wrong to finetuning it a bit more during editing, and throwing in some details to make it more in character.
But seriously, the iddyness is what makes the challenge, all the rest is just cherries on top!

Oh lord.

I came up with a Harry Potter OFC when I was thirteen, and I have lived more than half my life with her bopping around in there; her best friend/love interest came along a couple of years later. They face much angst, much trauma, are the most amazing pair ever, &c. &c. &c.

Most of my original fiction ideas are fairly iddy in and of themselves, so I originally chose one I'd already formulated but hadn't done much with to write for the bang. I wasn't really feeling it, though, and when I was messing around online and ignoring my blank GDocs file I suddenly really wanted to write a Marriage Law Challenge fic for my two OCs. The MLC comes from the main Snape/Hermione site (or Draco/Hermione site?), back in the day - after the war, the Ministry forces couples on opposite sides together to promote peace. With a particular interpretation of the OCs, this could work.

Do it, my id roared. Write this abomination now.

But nobody will want to read about my OCs, I protested. And it's so embarrassing to share these impulses with other people.

FOOL! my id roared even louder. What is idfic but that which embarrasses us to disclose? The fact that you feel trepidation despite desperately wanting to have the emotions that go with the trope confirms that you should indeed be writing this story for such a fest.

So here we are.

Well, I could add something like this* or this to my Clara and Me porn stars story, since I already have them using some cracky (but inspired by real) sex toys already in the story. I probably wouldn't go in the direction of something from a fictional tentacled creature that has one of its tentacles cut off or something. Let me think about it.

I mean, Soren probably isn't happy to be sent down to the evil scientist torture lab on a daily basis. The whole life of isolation and being used as a pawn constantly by his father probably isn't helping. At least now he has a pretty retainer to help him have thousands of words of h/c every part.

This is the bane of my iibb experience, I think I mentioned it on previous chat posts.
I started out writing on The Knotting fic, cue a bunch of other kinks later (Piercings! So many piercings! Also possibly a foot fetish!) and I've got everything but Knotting.

I've set it up though. :D

Today I achieved victory in the epic quest to name the horse in my story! His name is Pläsi. He is usually very easy-going and difficult to frighten, but magic makes him all nervous and twitchy. This is useful at times but creates problems at others.

And I hit 1k words, yay! I totally think I can finish in time.
