The bad news: the story I signed up to write is definitely not happening.
The good news: the "side project" that kept me distracted for months is also extremely iddy and is very closed to finished, so it got promoted to the IIBB big leagues and should be good to go when posting happens! I just need to finish it in time to do some polish.
