Iiiiiiit's showtime! Step right, step right up, for Iddy Check-in #2 is here! How are things going? Come tell us all about id! (A reminder that if you do not show up to at least one of our two check-ins, you will be automatically dropped!)

As we approach the finish line, a few reminders:

The drop date is September 8, three days from now.

Posting dates will be sent out by September 10. You will be randomly assigned a posting date from Sept 12-19.

If you think you may need an extension, or would like to try for one of our amnesty dates instead (Sept 26 or Oct 12), please let us know.

I am finished and good to go! It did get... Rather large, though. Is there any way to stagger chapter-uploads so I don't dunk a huge fic at once? Alright if not!

Unfortunately life got in the way badly enough that I'll have to drop out this year. :( I'm determined to be able to join again and finish next year, though! Thank you mods for your encouraging comments in the interim. "Summer Belial threw a ball wrench in your plans" keeps making me laugh still! I love how encouraging you are.

i've got a solid draft finished!! it's almost 24k, my longest fic so far. just needs some editing.

One fic is almost done and I should make the posting date. Real life has interfered on the other, and I think I’ll need to go for an amnesty date if that’s alright.

My fic is going very well! I'm just a couple scenes away from finishing the first draft, but it's unclear how much editing I'm going to need to do from there. I'm choosing to be optimistic that I'll be ready for posting as scheduled, but will let you know if I need to push out to the first amnesty date.

If we need to pick a date ahead of time, I'll pick October 12th for maximum amount of time, but if we don't need to pick is it ok if we post a completed work on either date?

I have one piece done and one almost done. One's more traditionally iddy (dubcon-y) but makes a limited amount of sense, and the other I'm more proud of but is more gen-type iddy (hurt-comfort, power of friendship-y).
