I have started and junked three or four different ideas, but the fifth! It might be the one and I have about 1500 words on it so far.

My beta keeps getting frantic messages saying, "It's going to be about 20k," "OKAY I think it's going to be about 40k," "OKAY IT ABSOLUTELY WON'T BE LONGER THAN 50K."

But it's going well, I have about 32k so far and I'm hoping at some point I'll figure out how to stop. 😖

Currently: Still writing. Almost at minimum word count, ~4400 words (that I am happy with). Trying to get in a few more scenes before reveals.

My piece: …there are a lot of Bayleys. It’s the only way I can describe it.

Had a couple of false starts, stories that I definitely want to write sometime but definitely don't have time to do now, but I finally settled on one I'm excited about! I sat down and wrote 1k words today, and I think I'll be able to finish it in time.

My AO3 is shnuffeluv, and my writing is uh...not going. At all. Odds are I will have a completed piece by the time I need to, but odds are also that I will have written it over the course of less than 24 hours, because I bounce around between ideas far too often to consistently focus on one idea and then not publish it soon after.

Working on brainstorming, accidentally wrote/posted an only tangentially related and mostly gen vignette in order to prove a point that came up in the middle of a (very helpful!) discussion of Augustine the First's weird immortal sex issues. I am either the best or the worst at this.

Hi! I'm still in it with just about 4k right now! :) I did end up changing my mind and am doing one of my backup ideas instead, but it's going well and I'm excited.

So the good news is, the words just keep coming! I've written 20k so far, which is exciting because I didn't know whether I could write something that long!

The bad news is that the further I go, the more my outline expands ahead of me. When I started, I figured this would be 10k tops. Now I think I've got at least another 10k to go. Oops?

Apologies for being late! I only have about 900 words at the moment, unfortunately, but I've been settled on this idea for a while and am excited to keep writing.

I'm here, but still not actually sure if I'll finish anything. My options are the finished Bucky/Loki arranged marriage fic that just needs to be edited properly, the Bucky/Loki mpreg from last year that's half done (this one is deeeeeefinitely not happening for IIBB, too much work left on it & I am currently in the early excitement stage for a different ship anyway), or the Loki/Sylvie twincest/mpreg thing I have 500 words of so far (this is the most likely, but I'm also not sure how long it will be, or take to write).

I'm doing pretty okay! Writing has been hard this month for a lot of reasons but for some reason this fic is working! I think its because I'm not worried about cannon or like...continuity? It's litteraly just an excuse to wtite smut lol. I'll definitely reach the word count and probably far beyond it! Happy writing everyone!
