OK, so I finally, FINALLY, settled on a fic for this round. Right now, Jounouchi is getting decidedly weirded out after having a bonding moment with a dragon and an invite to actually eat at the Kaiba mansion.

Alone.

With just Kaiba.

What could possibly go wrong?

You have no idea what she needs with other people to handle her dirty work at all, except that the very fucking haughty mortified edifice of Joy's alleged personality has been built on the principle of forcing complicity upon the greatest possible number of other people.

... Man, this is going to be amazing when I find anyone's motivation. And if that doesn't happen, like, tomorrow, I may need to drastically cut back my ambitions if I want to get this in on time.

I thought I'd figured out the ship for my story, and then suddenly another ship from an entirely different canon muscles in and says "There's not room enough in this bang for the both of us!"

(screams silently into the vortex)
