“Aren’t you gonna ask if it hurts?”
Loki glances over his shoulder at Mobius. “How will I be able to tell?” he asks with a sad smile before stepping through.

The memories rise in his mind like bubbles, popping before he can grab onto them. In them, he sees flashes of hair the color of autumn, a smile that warms his bones, and he feels the phantom touch of someone who once loved him.
