I ended up going with a Harry/Draco mindreading fic that has been slumbering as a first draft for a few years now. I've completed the (much needed) canon review and I've also edited the first half of the fic, but there are some major rewrites needed towards the end. I haven't touched them at all yet so there are still plenty of things to do. It's not an impossible amount of work, but I'll really need to pick up the pace soon... Still, this thing does speak to my id and I'm having fun revisiting it :)
