I've been writing iddy stuff all day today, but it's an obscure fandom *and* both AU (canon divergence) and arguably OOC. But, you know, 5000 words in a day is a big deal when I usually struggle to get 500 a day.

I'm just worried that the OOC part means I'm writing Any Two Guys fic...

Honestly, even if it were, that would still be okay, idfic is allowed to be that. But there's also nothing wrong to finetuning it a bit more during editing, and throwing in some details to make it more in character.
But seriously, the iddyness is what makes the challenge, all the rest is just cherries on top!

Gah. This story. I've AU'd my AU two different ways, so I kind of have three stories branching off from the original idea. I might be able to collapse two of them together, but the third contradicts a bunch of fundamental stuff for the other two. I don't even know.

But I'm writing. And it's definitely iddy as hell.
